What We Do

Hoopers

hoopers-1

Hoopers is a fun low impact, free flowing dog sport. The courses consist of a series of hoops, barrels, and tunnels. Tight turns are not involved and nothing on the Hoopers course is high impact, as everything is at ground level making this course suitable for large breed dogs, young puppies and elderly or disabled dogs (who are otherwise fit and well). Your dog can take part without any worries about damaging joints or bones.

Playing the Hoopers games with your dog will build your relationship, which will have a positive effect on your day-to-day life together. Hoopers commands are given at more distance, therefore the need for the handler to be running around is reduced compared to agility.

You will learn how to navigate the hoops, tunnels, and barrels, running through the hoops, going around the barrels and venturing through extra-large and shorter tunnels. Hoopers is a great social experience for both dog and handler, it will help your dog develop confidence and independence to work away from you on the equipment, slowly building skills to put together short sequences.

Have loved coming to Omnidogs Puppy training class and then followed on with the obedience training afterwards. Been a brilliant 12 weeks, will be back to the hooper class and foundation agility soon! Thank you Ella

Hoopers Training

I've been going to hoopers for a couple of months with my unconfident/sometimes reactive Doberman Zuri. Ella makes the classes fun while learning lots of useful tips. The classes have been really good in building not only my confidence but Zuri's too..

Hoopers Training

Was looking for something to do with a 5 month old puppy that was more than just obedience when we came across Hoopers, so glad we did, we have learnt so much and had great fun doing so. It's surprising how fast the class moved on from one or two hoops to whole circuits. Ella keeps the sessions fun and is always on hand to help get the best out of your dog. Would highly recommend this class

Hoopers Training

Both Millie and I thoroughly enjoyed attending hoopers classes. The atmosphere was relaxed with everyone moving at there own pace, the group was well managed with every dog treated as an individual. We had lots of fun and they made a massive difference in preparing for agility classes.
