What We Do
Agility Training
Agility training is suitable for all breeds and sizes of dogs. It is a fun, exciting activity for dogs and their owners to take part in. It involves your dog negotiating different obstacles through a course directed by the handler. We welcome competitive and non-competitive partnerships, including junior handlers.
Agility tests dog and handler fitness, as well as developing the relationship between dog and owner.
Dogs must be 12 months old to participate in agility training and should have a good level of basic obedience, including waits and recall off lead.
We use flexibility in our training approaches by observing handler and dog partnerships. We aim for everyone to leave a session, having achieved new and refined skills whilst having lots of fun. All our training uses science-based positive reward methods, which allows your dog to gain confidence and make fantastic progression with a greater understanding of learnt behaviours.
If you are interested in taking your first steps into competitive agility, we can give you details of local shows. And let you know what to expect and how to prepare. Lots of Omnidogs members compete in Kennel Club, UK Agility, and unaffiliated shows, so once you get started, you are bound to see lots of friendly faces at shows.
