Dog Agility

Our agility training is based on positional cues and positive reward methods. Training follows a clearly defined handling system ensuring a consistent approach that will promote and reinforce your skills and your dog's understanding over time.

  • Competitive and Non-Competitive handlers and dogs welcome.
  • Group sessions are 45 minutes
  • 1-2-1 sessions are also available.
  • Junior handlers are very welcome.

Dogs must be 12 months old to participate in agility training. Dogs should have a good level of basic obedience including waits and recall off lead. If you feel this is something you need to brush up on before joining an agility group you can join an obedience group first to get the basics in place.

We use flexibility in our training approaches through observing handler and dog partnerships then tailoring exercises to ensure that every session is a positive experience for both the handler and dog. We aim for everyone to leave a session having achieved new and refined skills, better understanding and of course having had lots of fun!

In addition to group and 1-2-1 sessions, we also arrange training days with top handlers to provide lots of opportunity for you and your dog(s) to develop skills further. Details will be given via the homepage, blog and the Omnidogs Facebook group.

If you are interested in taking your first steps into competitive agility we can  give you details of local shows and let you know what to expect and how to prepare. Lots of Omnidogs members compete at KC, UKA and unaffiliated shows so, once you get started with us, you are bound to see lots of friendly faces at shows.
